Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nikos Stavrou made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikos Stavrou in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's David Beckham got a free kick in the 4th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nikos Stavrou showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. When Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's Nikos Stavrou in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 25th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikos Stavrou went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ovidio Eztebe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Ovidio Eztebe slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. When David Beckham came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Beckham couldn't finish the play. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After 40 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 43rd minute, one of Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü. 47 minutes into the game, İlkan Osmanoğulları cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Eztebe in the 57th minute of play. Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Beckham took the corner. The supporters of Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikos Stavrou in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İlkan Osmanoğulları went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Stavrou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Anıl Kutlutekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Stavrou in the 87th minute of play. David Beckham took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. When David Beckham came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Beckham couldn't finish the play. Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
