Seçkin Ünlüol was slow to take the kick. During this time SANTOS FC- FDFDF's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Chile's Pedro Indiano to a score. 1-0 in the 24th minute. In the 27th match minute, SANTOS FC- FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Txartiko to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, SANTOS FC- FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Erivaldo Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Seçkin Ünlüol ran over to the corner to take the kick. Seçkin Ünlüol made a great header on SANTOS FC- FDFDF's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save.
