Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GAS MONKEY the free kick. After 19 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan Gaudillère during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, GAS MONKEY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Gaudillère to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Sam Baclet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilan Velasco in the 30th minute of the match. Roland Bordes hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Antoine Mano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 39th minute of play forced GAS MONKEY's goalkeeper Antoine Mano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Baclet, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Ilan Velasco fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GAS MONKEY's protests and gave Ilan Velasco a yellow card for diving instead. Ilan Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in GAS MONKEY's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoine Mano came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to GAS MONKEY getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gabriel Farrugia hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match, Sam Baclet tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 58th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, GAS MONKEY's Sam Baclet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilan Velasco in the 73rd minute. Ilan Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raoul Bienaimé in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Baclet in the 81st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raoul Bienaimé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 played minutes GAS MONKEY got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Specht. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Antoine Mano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Antoine Mano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Alan Moruga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antoine Mano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 96 minutes, Aaron Alcocer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Alcocer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GAS MONKEY had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
