Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mariano Lacasa made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elpidio Vitin. Vélez Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Guido Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Vitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 15th minute of the match. Elpidio Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Elpidio Vitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Manzanedo to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Nicolas Roland took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Roland in the 35th minute. In the 42nd minute, Celedonio Eriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Roland made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Vitin was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Manzanedo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jose Manzanedo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Vélez Juniors's Severo Maule got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 70th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Naike's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Naike in the 83rd minute of the match. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike. But to his dismay, Cristian Naike quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 87 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tamayo. After 88 played minutes, Vélez Juniors's Guido Luzaide shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thiago Pliego came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vélez Juniors reached it. Celedonio Eriz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Elpidio Vitin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Chile's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Vélez Juniors had won, even though Chile had held more of the ball.
