Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé 魏延 in the 13th minute of play. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 68 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé 魏延, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigore Chivu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, RomanianPower's Cristian Baniu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Grigore Chivu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.
