Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 11th minute of play forced Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Amava Pintos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pau Doku's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedro Paulo Chaves was slow to take the kick. During this time Pragmáticos 1903's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Luiz Eduardo Alves heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Pau Doku sent off a good shot on target. Amava Pintos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amava Pintos saved Pragmáticos 1903 from getting behind. Amava Pintos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Kaká Fenomeno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pragmáticos 1903's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 34th minute, Kaká Fenomeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pragmáticos 1903's Amava Pintos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 39th minute of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amava Pintos. Amava Pintos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pau Doku stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amava Pintos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Amava Pintos made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Amava Pintos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Amava Pintos made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Amava Pintos to make any attempt to save it. When Tales da Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pragmáticos 1903's protests and gave Tales da Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pragmáticos 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pragmáticos 1903 throughout the match.
