Boedo Crows's Jürgen Reil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jürgen Reil. Boedo Crows's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 47th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jürgen Reil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The audience was convinced that Dan Dalman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Jürgen Reil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jürgen Reil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
