An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of play forced Pirates of Black Sea's goalkeeper Wasyl Modrzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Rıfat Reşat kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Pirates of Black Sea's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Wasyl Modrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wasyl Modrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dong Xi Jun in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Mexico's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dong Xi Jun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alberto Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Dong Xi Jun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 75th minute, Ahmet Rıfat Reşat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Dowrick in the 76th minute of the match. Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Pirates of Black Sea from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris-George Chevalier in the 81st minute of play. Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 83rd minute of play. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Wasyl Modrzewski made a huge save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris-George Chevalier in the 96th minute of play.
