Pepillo Servin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Leones FC's attentive Oriol Loyola managed to snatch the ball when Axel Montenegro made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. The supporters of Leones FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Leones FC defense, Abram Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Villamarin. The Leones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Villamarin should have stopped the shot. Liu Feng Zhen kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Leones FC made a substitution. García Galego replaced Jeremy Lambarida. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pepillo Servin was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Colombia booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepillo Servin, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepillo Servin in the 82nd minute of the match.
