Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wasyl Modrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 4th minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wasyl Modrzewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8th minute, Dong Xi Jun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dong Xi Jun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Pirates of Black Sea's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Wasyl Modrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wasyl Modrzewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dong Xi Jun in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Dong Xi Jun came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Pirates of Black Sea were awarded a corner. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dong Xi Jun was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Pirates of Black Sea booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wasyl Modrzewski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 56 minutes into the match, Pirates of Black Sea's Dong Xi Jun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Wasyl Modrzewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
