An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Cumpan in the 5th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apa Panter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Sol Crowther had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sol Crowther was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. AFC Prunis MM's Apa Panter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 11th minute of play. Răzvan Mustață struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Prunis MM. Camilo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Florin Cumpan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Cumpan came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when AFC Prunis MM's Florin Cumpan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great ball. Florin Cumpan struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Prunis MM. In the 30th minute, Uruguay's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Florin Cumpan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jorge Sainz hit a great ball. The nice shot from Florin Cumpan in the 45thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Joaquin Gayoso had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florin Cumpan made a kick off. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Cumpan in the 52nd minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Mustață, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Prunis MM's zone, Jaime Cazalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apa Panter came out of the goal and Jaime Cazalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Răzvan Mustață kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Petrică Ciocâlteu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apa Panter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, George Elenescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Gheorghe Braru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apa Panter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 81st minute of play. AFC Prunis MM made a substitution. Narcis Ţintă replaced Răzvan Mustață. In the 90th minute Florin Cumpan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Camilo Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Narcis Ţintă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Prunis MM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
