The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. USA were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Playa Malvín's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 80th minute of play. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Roberto Teixeira. Zé Roberto Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. In the 85th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koby Fletcher to maneuver through the defense. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jenson Smith in the 89th minute of play. Marco Day was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Quinto Ampudia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 92 minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Sam Campbell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Zé Roberto Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. USA fully deserved thier win.
