Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurxo Lagunas in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 23rd minute of play forced Asturcones d´la Abadía's goalkeeper Ermegildo Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Chile's Francisco Carballar to fire away a dangerous shot which Ermegildo Delgado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ermegildo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Filomeno Tormes notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute Veremundo Lastras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Tormes in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Xurxo Lagunas took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After 73 minutes of play, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Filomeno Tormes made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Asturcones d´la Abadía made a substitution. Montrel Olmedo replaced Angelo Esteban. 85 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Xurxo Lagunas came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asturcones d´la Abadía were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Valverde took the corner. 88 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Enetz Carballeira came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Valverde who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Asturcones d´la Abadía booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Lacasa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
