The audience was convinced that Viorel Moldovan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Timmy Kjellkvist threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Moldovan in the 45th minute of play. If Ulf Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half FC Hans were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timmy Kjellkvist was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Hans's Timmy Kjellkvist. Timmy Kjellkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Hans's Timmy Kjellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 57th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulf Arvidsson in the 59th minute. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timmy Kjellkvist having to make a save. In the 61st minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Kjellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timmy Kjellkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. FC Hans made a substitution. Xiao Wei Yan replaced Viorel Moldovan. After 65 minutes FC Hans's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. Colombia's Pascual Carballar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Timmy Kjellkvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bertil Kalfhage kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Kevin Mastache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timmy Kjellkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xiao Wei Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xiao Wei Yan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Xiao Wei Yan sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Javier Riguera in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. 82 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xiao Wei Yan. In the 87th minute, Santino Seco made a precise shot to the right of Timmy Kjellkvist. FC Hans's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Hans players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Colombia.
