Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Pombal in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Augusto Bittencourt got free with Benito Sanz in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Alexandre Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osmar Egers short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Téo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 24th minute of play. After 24 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Corrêa. After 25 minutes, Telmo Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebra Ossos FC and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Téo Fonseca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. Alexandre Pombal took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Osmar Eger came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Quebra Ossos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osmar Eger couldn't finish the play. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Téo Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alexandre Pombal made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Alexandre Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Alexandre Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Bittencourt in the 56th minute of play. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a Quebra Ossos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. Luisinho Cardoso charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisinho Cardoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Axel Tasis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 64th playminute. In the 69th minute, Osmar Eger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quebra Ossos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Augusto Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Pombal in the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 84th minute. Alexandre Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Osmar Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Axel Tasis's late challenge caught a Quebra Ossos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Tasis helped the player get up and apologised. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Alexandre Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Quebra Ossos FC were the better team. Quebra Ossos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
