Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Andrea De Toro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute, Monty Rogers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Mattsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolli Bolla in the 9th minute of play. In the 16th minute Jacob May shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Hummerfiskarna's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Holger Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Andrea De Toro sent off a good shot on target. When Raphael Moore fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored USA's protests and gave Raphael Moore a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Raphael Moore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Bolli Bolla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hummerfiskarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Bolli Bolla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Holger Mattsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Monty Rogers went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes of play, Hummerfiskarna's Arnaldo Queirós made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnaldo Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Florin Răducioiu was slow to take the kick. During this time Hummerfiskarna's players had a chance to rest. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Queirós in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bolli Bolla in the 52nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Brown. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Monty Rogers took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Holger Mattsson to make any attempt to save it. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Holger Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 63rd minute of the match. Holger Mattsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monty Rogers's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Hummerfiskarna's Holger Mattsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Hummerfiskarna from getting a goal against them. 2-4 became the score in the 69th minute when Bolli Bolla elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hummerfiskarna's Rickard Malmström was substituted for Bjarte Paul. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
