Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) FC Old Dogs United's Gerardo Oskitz got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5th play minutes Antoni Kirliev shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. After 7 minutes of play, FC Old Dogs United's Antoni Kirliev made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerardo Oskitz scored 0-3 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for FC Old Dogs United. Gerardo Oskitz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 0-4. Gerardo Oskitz took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 24 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Mios came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Juan Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Old Dogs United the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. In the 29thth minute of the game Gerardo Oskitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, William Alin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Oskitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Oskitz in the 34th minute of play. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Gerardo Oskitz struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Old Dogs United. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Oskitz's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Czeslaw Mios might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Czeslaw Mios ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Oskitz made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, FC Old Dogs United's Gerardo Oskitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Oskitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Gerardo Oskitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, FC Old Dogs United's Gerardo Oskitz made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Antoni Kirliev managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Old Dogs United's supporters rose to their feet, but Antoni Kirliev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Czeslaw Mios fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Old Dogs United's protests and gave Czeslaw Mios a yellow card for diving instead. Czeslaw Mios hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gerardo Oskitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Gerardo Oskitz lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Oskitz in the 79th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Gerardo Oskitz scored 0-9 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over FC Old Dogs United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
