The crowd rose to their feet as Jamaica's Finlay Stair slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nelio Camba. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Vallejo in the 16th minute of the match. Nelio Camba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romon Oliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Jarell Hill notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of alianza all stars's Nelio Camba. Nelio Camba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Finlay Stair recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Emmanuel Vallejo's late challenge caught a Jamaica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarell Hill got free with Nelio Camba in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kordal Duff to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Jamaica's Karlus Waugh ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nelio Camba. Nelio Camba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Javan Develder with Finlay Stair as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Finlay Stair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 54th minute, when alianza all stars's Xorxe Carabajal after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Demonde Jacobson in Jamaica's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 61stth minute of the game Finlay Stair who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but alianza all stars's Nelio Camba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Romon Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Romon Oliver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamaica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romon Oliver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nelio Camba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karlus Waugh, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romon Oliver couldn't finish the play. Kordal Duff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelio Camba having to interfere.
