Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Håkan Rudkvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute, Ramon Iztal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bayern Boliviano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Iztal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Iztal, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Bayern Boliviano's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Antonio Giorgio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Iztal did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 30 minutes into the match. Ronaldão Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Bayern Boliviano's Ramon Iztal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 40 minutes into the match, Ramon Iztal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 4-0. After 43 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Iztal came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Pär Sigfridsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th of the match, Joshua Secada tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Antonio Giorgio got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Iztal in the 57th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Ramon Iztal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Iztal came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayern Boliviano's Álvaro Peña was substituted for Cooper Schurter. In the 79th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Ramon Iztal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Álvaro Peña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 87 minutes into the game, Ramon Iztal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Peña in the 93rd minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Iztal in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Bayern Boliviano were the better team. Bayern Boliviano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
