Mekki Item showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 3rd minute of the match. Mekki Item showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Mekki Item took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Bandung Tigers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. In the 11th minute, Bandung Tigers's Wang Zheng Yun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Day. Marco Day yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mekki Item didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Monty Rogers went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Bandung Tigers's Leopoldo Azevedo in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Leopoldo Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Leopoldo Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Mekki Item reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, USA's Monty Rogers made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mekki Item was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jenson Smith hit a great ball. Mekki Item showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Zach Harrison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Zach Harrison.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zulkarnaen Mandaga to make the kick off. A collision led to Bandung Tigers getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Haji Gille hit a great ball. Mekki Item made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 57th minute. Mekki Item took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Mekki Item reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Zulkarnaen Mandaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandung Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Zulkarnaen Mandaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Mekki Item made a huge save. USA were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Bandung Tigers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Azevedo in the 73rd minute of play. Bandung Tigers were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wang Zheng Yun took the corner. The corner led Bandung Tigers's Wang Zheng Yun to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mekki Item took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mekki Item made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Jacob May reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mekki Item. The goal made the score 2-3. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Sam Campbell put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Mekki Item. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
