Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rufo Serra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chile booed when RACIN DE CHAWEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erlantz Duran didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 minutes RACIN DE CHAWEN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Xavier Figueroa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufo Serra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Pedriza was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Mariano Lacasa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mariano Lacasa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Pedriza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind RACIN DE CHAWEN's goalkeeper Marco Pedriza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelino Verdeja took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a little luck, RACIN DE CHAWEN's Marco Pedriza got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufo Serra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Marco Pedriza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marco Pedriza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Galnares in the 39th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Pedriza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Pedriza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. RACIN DE CHAWEN's Otto Kartasasmita got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Verdeja, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Galnares went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Galnares in the 58th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Caetano Galnares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as RACIN DE CHAWEN's Marcelino Verdeja slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thiago Pliego. That made the score 4-3 after 63 minutes of play. 73 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Galnares. In the 74th minute RACIN DE CHAWEN were awarded a corner. Otto Kartasasmita went to the cornerflag to take it. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rufo Serra in the 79th minute. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Kartasasmita, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Rufo Serra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Pedriza having to interfere. Otto Kartasasmita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Chile's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
