Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Francisco Seco made the kick off which started today's match. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Olofsson in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 5 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulf Olofsson scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Olofsson came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Ernst Asmundsson in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Olofsson in the 17th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, KD Stiger's Ulf Olofsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulf Olofsson charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulf Olofsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when KD Stiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Georg Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, one of KD Stiger:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KD Stiger. When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benjamin Blixt. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ulf Olofsson made the kick off in the second half. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Benjamin Blixt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Blixt saved KD Stiger from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Uruguay lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
