Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walentin Julskov started the match with the kick off. Vilfred Degener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 3rd minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 4th minute. It was a well-played corner which Alberto Tafalla managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 8 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. Egernføde Boldklub's Vilfred Degener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 10th minute of play. Steff Kermit hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Egernføde Boldklub's goalie prevented a goal. If Facundo Cadaval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Vilfred Degener in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Macos Graciani hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Rosenvad in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
