Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Sleepy Soldiers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Joonatan De Vlaeminck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Oper in the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joonatan De Vlaeminck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Oper in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joonatan De Vlaeminck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joonatan De Vlaeminck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonatan De Vlaeminck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play forced Sleepy Soldiers FC's goalkeeper Joonatan De Vlaeminck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joonatan De Vlaeminck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joonatan De Vlaeminck was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Oper got free with Julio Vera in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Oper in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Oper in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joonatan De Vlaeminck came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 65th match minute, Sleepy Soldiers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Zanette to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joonatan De Vlaeminck saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joonatan De Vlaeminck made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Sleepy Soldiers FC's Balu De Hond got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Andres Oper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joonatan De Vlaeminck came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After having played for 86 minutes, Andres Oper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sleepy Soldiers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Oper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, Sleepy Soldiers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
