Lake Wales FC's Rinto Kalla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Lake Wales FC from getting a goal against them. If Ian Chung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Chung in the 15th minute of the match. Ian Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Ian Chung shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Chung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Stacy Kitchen came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Lake Wales FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Garth Wray was slow to take the kick. During this time Lake Wales FC's players had a chance to rest. If Danial Salter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Lake Wales FC's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danial Salter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Stacy Kitchen hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Salter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Ian Chung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lake Wales FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
