Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Godo Schirp started the match with the kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RB Leipzig's Cecil Balla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Godo Schirp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Godo Schirp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Godo Schirp scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Friedrich Hölderlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Torbjörn Ruhnau fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RB Leipzig's protests and gave Torbjörn Ruhnau a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Uruguay booed when RB Leipzig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Ruhnau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Escribano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecil Balla was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 29 minutes, Godo Schirp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RB Leipzig and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Uruguay booed when RB Leipzig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godo Schirp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecil Balla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Laslo Witty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RB Leipzig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. After 40 played minutes RB Leipzig got a freekick which was hit by Laslo Witty. Cecil Balla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, RB Leipzig's Torbjörn Ruhnau got a free kick in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in RB Leipzig's zone, Maximiliano Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecil Balla came out of the goal and Maximiliano Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godo Schirp in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by RB Leipzig's Godo Schirp. But to his dismay, Godo Schirp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 60th minute Vladimir Stengert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cecil Balla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godo Schirp in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad got a free kick in the 67th minute. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godo Schirp in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, RB Leipzig's Cecil Balla got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 82 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Cecil Balla managed to make a qualified save. RB Leipzig's players were relieved. In the 82nd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godo Schirp in the 83rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cecil Balla, 2-1. During the 87th minute of the match Torbjörn Ruhnau completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Torbjörn Ruhnau a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Zarando Ruis put in a rough tackle. Adem Akova charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adem Akova the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to RB Leipzig getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Adem Akova hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cecil Balla saved RB Leipzig from getting behind. Cecil Balla made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Bruno Beldad sent off a good shot on target. Godo Schirp kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
