Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ian Chung took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lake Wales FC's Stacy Kitchen got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian Chung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danial Salter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lance Yeats kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lake Wales FC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rinto Kalla came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Ian Chung tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Danial Salter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st play minute Roland Davenport came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 2-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Ian Chung's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Rinto Kalla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Ian Chung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ian Chung's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Ian Chung who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stacy Kitchen in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lake Wales FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rinto Kalla came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danial Salter in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stacy Kitchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Lance Yeats in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Lake Wales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Davenport didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes Lake Wales FC got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Helton. Rinto Kalla made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Patricio Costa sent off a good shot on target. Roland Davenport sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd minute Ian Chung shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas suffered a concussion in the 78th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Jarvis Whitney charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarvis Whitney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 78 minutes into the game, one of Lake Wales FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Francesco Helton hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danial Salter, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Rinto Kalla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Ocampo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ian Chung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lake Wales FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
