Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ongamira's Hipolito Tolino got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Ongamira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Gabon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hector Ganix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Hector Ganix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ongamira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ovidio Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of the match. The corner led to Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ongamira's Hector Ganix got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hipolito Tolino came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ongamira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Tolino couldn't finish the play. Ovidio Cutberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ongamira! The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ongamira's Ovidio Cutberto. 1-2. The Ongamira players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 1-2.

Ongamira's Flavio Maurino got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ongamira's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Ovidio Cutberto, making the score, 1-3. Ongamira's Marcelo Formerio was substituted for Hipolito Tolino. The audience was convinced that Hector Ganix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Ongamira's Gerardo Gabon got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 92 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Cutberto. Ongamira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Venezuela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
