In the 26th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Hyuga struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ManagerZone Academy. With a little luck, ManagerZone Academy's Paolo Pereyra got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paolo Pereyra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Paolo Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paolo Pereyra. The goal made the score 2-0. When Leon Messi fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ManagerZone Academy's protests and gave Leon Messi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, ManagerZone Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Messi to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Pereyra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steve Hyuga to make the kick off. Steve Hyuga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Steve Hyuga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
