Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danial Boon's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Alex Cambeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Cambeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The throw-in from Matthew Garrido in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Marcos Urtsin. 17 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Danial Boon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danial Boon in the 21st minute of play. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Danial Boon. But to his dismay, Danial Boon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 25 minutes of play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Alexandre Tepedino made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 minutes, Gong Jun Jian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Panama booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gong Jun Jian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umea Sorzano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danial Boon struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Pomelo Nenene. 38 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Danial Boon came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danial Boon went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Danial Boon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Danial Boon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Matthew Garrido got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abraham Alguacil. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Dalmacio Naike got a free kick in the 54th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Albino Maiorga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Albino Maiorga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Danial Boon notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 63 minutes of play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Danial Boon made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Danial Boon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene made a substitution. Liu Feng Guang replaced Danial Boon. After a rather tough play, Panama's Aaron Barrios got a free kick in the 69th minute. Marcos Urtsin charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Liu Feng Guang who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Marcos Cotilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Dalmacio Naike got a free kick in the 78th minute. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Albino Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 80th minute of play. When Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento, in the 81st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Panama. In the 82nd minute, Liu Feng Guang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Liu Feng Guang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Liu Feng Guangs short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Marcos Cotilla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Gaspar Pomelov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Gaspar Pomelov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaspar Pomelov really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene played a much better game than Panama and deserved their victory. The Panama players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
