In the 8th match minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dacian Nițescu. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Don Cabezon came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Don Cabezon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Axel Montenegro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dacian Nițescu. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 28th minute Don Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Cabezon in the 30th minute of play. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's attentive Wilfredo Martxot managed to snatch the ball when Joshua Garrido made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. It was a well-played corner which Freddy Sazon managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 41 minutes into the game, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The throw-in from Joshua Garrido in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon.

Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Ardy Pakubuwono sent off a good shot on target. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Mauro Dos Santos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joshua Garrido, made in the 55th minute of the game. Don Cabezon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Cabezon in the 60th minute of play. Don Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC made a substitution. Dewa Warauw replaced Don Cabezon. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Samuel Mambru was substituted for Ardy Pakubuwono. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuel Mambru was slow to take the kick. During this time AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's players had a chance to rest. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dewa Warauw in the 80th minute of play. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Samuel Mambru managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Antonio Indiano in the 88 minute of the game. If Dewa Warauw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dewa Warauw in the 88th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes of play, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dewa Warauw made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dewa Warauw in the 93rd minute of play. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 95th minute of play. The AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
