The supporters of Boquenses booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santino Seco hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Gaur kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Axel Montenegro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Osoro skillfully saved the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Gabino in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Boquenses's Celso Gaur got a free kick in the 41st minute. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. After the first half Boquenses were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Ferdinand to make the kick off. Boquenses's Tobias Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 55th minute of play. Tobias Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 58th minute of the match. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Rodrigo Ferdinand tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Boquenses's zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Osoro came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Boquenses's Tobias Osoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 68th minute of play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Boquenses's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. After 71 minutes, Joshua Garrido made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Boquenses's Tobias Osoro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Boquenses's Rodrigo Ferdinand nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
