Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Vilfred Degener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Vilfred Degener tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilfred Degener showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Walentin Julskov lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Dante Lacasa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced Egernføde Boldklub's goalkeeper Vilfred Degener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walentin Julskov in the 34th minute of play. Walentin Julskov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Ferdinand Rosenvad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilfred Degener having to interfere. Walentin Julskov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Rosenvad, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 56th minute of play forced Egernføde Boldklub's goalkeeper Vilfred Degener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 57th minute. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Egernføde Boldklub's Vilfred Degener did a great save. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vilfred Degener made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Rosenvad in the 66th minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, Egernføde Boldklub's Ferdinand Rosenvad made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egernføde Boldklub's Vilfred Degener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Rosenvad in the 85th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macos Graciani kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
