Honduras's attentive Emanuel Ocampo managed to snatch the ball when Gláuber Senna made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Carlos Augusto Almeida could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Lautaro Navarro however easily saved by the left post. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Linares in the 24th minute of play. Só de Fula F.C.'s Nilton Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute of play. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Carlos Augusto Almeida got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gláuber Senna in the 43 minute of the game. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Gláuber Senna made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Clemente Queirós. Gláuber Senna got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lauro de Brito. Nilton Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilton Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Nilton Quirino threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Villa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. João Francisco Munhoz hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. A collision led to Só de Fula F.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Almeida hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes Só de Fula F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Pinho. The referee felt a red card was in order, 80 minutes into the game, when João Francisco Munhoz put in a rough tackle. In the 81st minute, João Francisco Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Carlos Augusto Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Só de Fula F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Só de Fula F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Nilton Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honduras were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Só de Fula F.C. to leave the ground with a draw.
