The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Byron Tanner saved Brannik from getting behind. In the 19th minute Robert Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Ignacio Emerson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Brannik's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Byron Tanner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when İslam Hirfanlı sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Pierson in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Brannik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Vincent to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İslam Hirfanlı to strike the kick off in the second half. Byron Tanner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Vincent in the 59th minute of play. İslam Hirfanlı scored 2-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th match minute, Brannik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Emerson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. Ignacio Emerson made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. After 93 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
