The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Tommy Falck in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Marcelo Chepe in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Tommy Falck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Falck came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Mina slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Du Lin went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcelo Chepe, made in the 33rd minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Falck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tommy Falck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FS Elite's Tommy Falck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marcelo Chepe in the 52 minute of the game. Tommy Falck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Marcelo Chepe in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Falck quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 63 minutes into the match, FS Elite's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Tommy Falck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FS Elite's Calle Lekberg was substituted for Du Lin. In the 74thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FS Elite's Tommy Falck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kent Åkerström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Noboa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind FS Elite's goalkeeper Tommy Falck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Falck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 85th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of FS Elite's Tommy Falck. Tommy Falck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Tenorio in the 88th minute of play forced FS Elite's goalkeeper Tommy Falck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
