Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nedim Emekli started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Nedim Emekli tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nedim Emekli got free with Rolando Noboa in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mean Machine's goalkeeper Menios Chloros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Menios Chloros saved Mean Machine from getting behind. Mean Machine's Menios Chloros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 8th minute of play. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Menios Chloros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Makris, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Nedim Emekli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Menios Chloros. Mean Machine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 20th minute, Miltos Makris reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-1. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Nedim Emekli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miltos Makris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carles Pujol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. In the 29th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Chloros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menios Chloros having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes in the game Nikos Stasinos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carles Pujol. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Menios Chloros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Mean Machine's Menios Chloros. Menios Chloros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Nikos Stasinos in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Menios Chloros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Peru were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Mean Machine's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Menios Chloros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
