Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jan-Olof Bergman got the match started through his kick off. Kåge BF's attentive Lars-Erik Wik managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Fontirroig made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kåge BF's goalkeeper Roland Backman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego was a little too slow when Jan-Olof Bergman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 15 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland Backman was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Backman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kåge BF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Pedro Indiano managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Backman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Roland Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kåge BF's Hjalmar Spetz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 36 played minutes Kåge BF got a freekick which was hit by Nathanial Johnson. Andreas King struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kåge BF. In the 42nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Roland Backman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Kåge BF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 1-2.
The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Janusz Tipinski hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Roland Backman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Fontirroig in the 63rd minute. Alan Tamayo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Roland Backman made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Olof Bergman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. A collision led to Kåge BF getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Janusz Tipinski hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Kåge BF's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Roland Backman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kåge BF's Roland Backman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Kåge BF from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Roland Backman. Kåge BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 79th minute, Lars-Erik Wik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janusz Tipinski kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Kåge BF's Roland Backman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 86th minute of play. Felix Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Roland Backman. Kåge BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kåge BF's goalkeeper Roland Backman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute Jan-Olof Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jan-Olof Bergman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
