Renāts Skipors kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jānis Lielais made a huge save. A hard shot 6 in the game by Mariano Lacasa from a close distance when the talented Jānis Lielais managed to make a qualified save. SK Annenieki's players were relieved. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artūrs Sagalats in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Artūrs Sagalats came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jānis Lielais. Jānis Lielais yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jānis Lielais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Jāzeps Pics's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jānis Lielais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Orlando Casaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jānis Lielais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chile's Francisco Carballar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Renāts Skipors in the 47 minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artūrs Sagalats was the one to do the kick off. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artūrs Sagalats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jānis Lielais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 59th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Annenieki's Indris Tomass. But to his dismay, Indris Tomass quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Artūrs Sagalats kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. SK Annenieki's Ingus Rencis was substituted for Drosmis Kalnaiza. Jānis Lielais came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Pedro Indiano hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Reinholds Jaunzems. 93 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Jānis Lielais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SK Annenieki booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chile were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SK Annenieki for a fine match.
