Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. 12 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Newpi Academy's Richard Textex. Richard Textex was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Textex. Richard Textex dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Richard Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tonete in the 30th minute of play. Antonio Perrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Textex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. Newpi Academy's attentive Gavino Lauren managed to snatch the ball when Luis Andino made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. After having played for 47 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Newpi Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Tonete to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gavino Lauren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Newpi Academy getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Wulf Köllner hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tonete came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Richard Textex saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Richard Textex made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tonete in the 66th minute of play. Newpi Academy's Guaberto Efren was substituted for Ion Hidiș. In the 71st match minute, Newpi Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wulf Köllner to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Alberto Tonete ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Richard Textex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho got in the 89th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Richard Textex handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Alberto Tonete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tonete in the 96th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Newpi Academy's Alberto Tonete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Newpi Academy throughout the match.
