USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Beauval in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Cassius Byrne reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tanek Zurawski. The goal made the score 1-0. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Tanek Zurawski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Les Pionniers de Touraine from getting a goal against them. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Tanek Zurawski made a huge save. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 20th minute. The corner led USA's Cassius Byrne to fire away a dangerous shot which Tanek Zurawski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Tanek Zurawski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cassius Byrne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tanek Zurawski having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Les Pionniers de Touraine's zone, Zach Harrison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanek Zurawski came out of the goal and Zach Harrison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Tanek Zurawski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Tanek Zurawski in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tanek Zurawski came out and tried to block the shot, but Cassius Byrne slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 38th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abraham Beauval to make the kick off. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Raphaël Lallemand tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abraham Beauval could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Tanek Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 71st minute of play. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Raphaël Lallemand sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Beauval in the 73rd minute of the match. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Hervé Malaise was substituted for Raphaël Lallemand. Les Pionniers de Touraine were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Léon Sureau took the corner. Les Pionniers de Touraine's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Léon Sureau in the 88th minute. In the 88th match minute, Les Pionniers de Touraine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Beauval to maneuver through the defense. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Tanek Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 92nd minute of play. In the 92nd minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Zurawski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. USA fully deserved thier win.
