Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Astor Barbosa got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Enzo Shantala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Enzo Shantala made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Barbosa came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Enzo Shantala in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Julian Abilio, made in the 25th minute of the game. Astor Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Lun Luna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Astor Barbosa went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lun Luna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Howling Dawn U18 were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Enzo Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Lun Luna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lun Luna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 62 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Gilesindo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lun Luna in the 65th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Enzo Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Howling Dawn U18's Baldomiro Jerrald was substituted for Lun Luna. Guaberto Gilesindo charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Gilesindo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Howling Dawn U18 made a substitution. Mars Marte replaced Tobias Sol. After a rather tough play, Howling Dawn U18's Guaberto Gilesindo got a free kick in the 81st minute. 91 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Shantala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Howling Dawn U18 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
