After 5 played minutes Los Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Eufemio. In the 10th minute Tomas Berganza clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Diablos Rojos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Los Diablos Rojos:s Aquilino Aguilera showed great skill when he stopped Abraham Alguacil:s penalty. In the 17th minute, Ignacio Tancredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Cloyo got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidoro Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Maximo Cloyo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. Aquilino Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 30th minute of the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Aquilino Aguilera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Los Diablos Rojos defense, Estefania Rasgado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquilino Aguilera. The Los Diablos Rojos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquilino Aguilera should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Dylan Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doug Bermudez was the one to do the kick off. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doug Bermudez in the 51st minute of play. Estefania Rasgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aquilino Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doug Bermudez in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doug Bermudez in the 58th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee showed Dylan Sarmiento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doug Bermudez in the 78th minute of the match. Maximo Cloyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estefania Rasgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Aquilino Aguilera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 87th minute. Maximo Cloyo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 93 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when João Adolfo Mota came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
