The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Kerimhan Bürge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolga Altınkaya in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Tolga Altınkaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, ASLANAS's Tolga Altınkaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kerimhan Bürge having to make a save. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Joshua Secada hit a great ball. After 32 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the ASLANAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolga Altınkaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 44 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. When ASLANAS's Tolga Altınkaya in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. ASLANAS's Kerimhan Bürge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kerimhan Bürge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Orbay Kutunalp sent off a good shot on target. Cengizhan Seferoğlulları hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aykut İslam in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 79th minute of play forced ASLANAS's goalkeeper Kerimhan Bürge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes of play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kerimhan Bürge was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 83 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. In the 87th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Kerimhan Bürge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Orbay Kutunalp kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
