Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Berganza got the match started through his kick off. In the 7thth minute of the game Doug Bermudez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Panama's Aquilino Aguilera threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doug Bermudez went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Tomas Berganza scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquilino Aguilera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aquilino Aguilera came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Aquilino Aguilera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. 66 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Gizon came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza scored 3-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquilino Aguilera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Tomas Berganza put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aquilino Aguilera. After having played for 95 minutes, Doug Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Diablos Rojos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doug Bermudez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
