Tolga Altınkaya started the match with the kick off. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerimhan Bürge having to interfere. The supporters of Panama booed when ASLANAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orbay Kutunalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Orbay Kutunalp made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kerimhan Bürge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Dylan Sarmiento put in a rough tackle. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kerimhan Bürge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kerimhan Bürge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerimhan Bürge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, ASLANAS's goalkeeper Kerimhan Bürge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kerimhan Bürge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, ASLANAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barış Omay to maneuver through the defense. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barış Omay in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kerimhan Bürge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barış Omay in the 57th minute. Kerimhan Bürge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 62nd minute of the match. Matthew Garrido charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matthew Garrido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by ASLANAS's Orbay Kutunalp. But to his dismay, Orbay Kutunalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Kerimhan Bürge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 72 minutes ASLANAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. Panama's Abraham Alguacil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kerimhan Bürge in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kerimhan Bürge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Miguel Miralles managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to ASLANAS getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Hayyam Saygılı hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 90th minute. Kerimhan Bürge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 94th minute of play forced ASLANAS's goalkeeper Kerimhan Bürge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it.
