The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Dávid Szentesi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallahassee Vikings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dávid Szentesi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Pete Maxwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blaine Thorne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Tallahassee Vikings got a freekick which was hit by 俞正平. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tallahassee Vikings were victorious despite being under pressure from Honduras for much of the match.
