Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Leonardo Javiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dan Dalman went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Boedo Crows's Dan Dalman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Dan Dalman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After having played for 24 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Boedo Crows fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Boedo Crows's Dan Dalman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dan Dalman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Boedo Crows's Dan Dalman. But to his dismay, Dan Dalman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 34th minute, Aron Mårtensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 38th minute of play forced Boedo Crows's goalkeeper Jürgen Reil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Dalman came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jürgen Reil. Jürgen Reil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Ecuador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Boedo Crows were winning 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dan Dalman made a kick off. 58 minutes in the game Luis Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Sancho. In the 65th minute, Dan Dalman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aron Mårtensson during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Boedo Crows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Mårtensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Dalman in the 73rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dan Dalman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-6 in the 74 minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Dalman came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Dan Dalman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute of play forced Boedo Crows's goalkeeper Jürgen Reil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boedo Crows were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ecuador's much stronger midfield.
