In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Jose Boldu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo ScrugenFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. After 16 minutes, Felix Garrido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chile and the Deportivo ScrugenFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Felix Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Kev Hurtado sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 22nd minute of play forced Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Jose Boldu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Kev Hurtado got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Kev Hurtado came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Boldu having to make a save. 36 minutes into the game, Kev Hurtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lolo Moreno in the 40th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Jose Boldu came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 60 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Boldu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Lacasa. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Zoil Pequeño replaced Kev Hurtado. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Renato Tapia replaced Su Yong Zhen. Mariano Lacasa hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Zoil Pequeño came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Jose Boldu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoil Pequeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoil Pequeño in the 80th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Boldu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 84th minute. After 90 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by Lolo Moreno. In the 94th minute Zoil Pequeño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo ScrugenFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
