Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. After having played for 8 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Lun Luna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 15 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Astor Barbosa. Howling Dawn U18's Enzo Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. Howling Dawn U18's Enzo Shantala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Howling Dawn U18 from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Lun Luna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lun Luna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lun Luna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lun Luna in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lun Luna in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Enzo Shantala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Hernan Azibar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Howling Dawn U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 45 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Azibar. After the first half Howling Dawn U18 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Astor Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Lun Luna, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 51 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Julio Vera was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Teofilo Oriol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Barbosa in the 60th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lun Luna in the 63rd minute. In the 74th minute, Mercurio Mercurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Tobias Sol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Howling Dawn U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Howling Dawn U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Sol kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Howling Dawn U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Oriol to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Baldomiro Jerrald tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baldomiro Jerrald took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Ecuador manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Howling Dawn U18 to win.
